Erin Blunt, “DJ Alcatraz”, is a veteran in the entertainment business and is an accomplished actor
and deejay. He grew up in the City of Carson, where he continues to reside.
Erin entered the film industry at the age of six and was featured in the television show, What’s
Happening. He also had roles in several films, including one of the all-time comedy favorites, Car
Wash. Erin was also prominently featured in the popular Bad News Bears franchise.
Erin’s love for music allowed him to smoothly transition into becoming one of the region’s top
deejays. He provides DJ services for all types of occasions, including civic events, private parties,
sporting activities and corporate events. He is highly skilled in his craft and possesses an
extensive music library. His keen ability to read his audiences allows him to program his music in
a way that is always pleasing to the crowd. His exceptional skills and unique mixing style have
landed him esteemed residencies in several clubs around Los Angeles. Erin’s ability to rock the
mic and the turntables at the same time has captivated celebrity clients, which include: Magic
Johnson, Stevie Wonder, Jamie Foxx, Brian McKnight, Metta World Peace, Cedric The
Entertainer, Mike Epps, Yolanda Adams, Jalen Rose, Chris Brown, Paul Pierce, Baron Davis,
Martin Sheen and the late Bernie Mac. Erin has also worked at 92.3 THE BEAT and had a daily
show on 102.3 FM KJLH called THE COMFORT MIX AT 6.
